Cono Sur receives recognition for its 12 years of CarbonNeutral Delivery
Since its founding in 1993, Viña Cono Sur has been committed to environmental care, not only in its vineyards, but at each stage of the production process. As part of its commitment to sustainability, Cono Sur annually renews its CarbonNeutral® Delivery certification. During 2019, the vineyard celebrated 12 consecutive years of certification and received recognition from Natural Capital Partners. The CarbonNeutral® certification is the most recognized standard in the world in carbon neutrality. Cono Sur Winery Receives Gold Medal at BRIT Awards, International Sustainable Winegrowing Competition
The international competition of sustainable winemaking carried by Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) awarded Cono Sur the Gold Medal as recognition of the winery's sustainable practices. BRIT is an non-profit that seeks to protect biodiversity and encourage the conservation of natural resources and awards wineries that lead the way in sustainable practices.
