Cono Sur at the Duty Free & Travel Retail Global Summit
Cono Sur Winery participated for the third consecutive year in the TWFA. From September 30th to October 5th the event – that took place in Cannes, France – gathered more than 520 companies of Premium and Luxury products and services from the Duty Free & Travel Retail industry, brands like Dior, Chanel, Remy Cointreau and Penfolds were also present.
Cono Sur was the only chilean brand in the Wine & Spirits category, what made this an even more unique oportunity to showcase the quality of our products and strengthen the winery’s positioning.
“Attending TFWA is important for any company who wants to grow in the Premium category, addionally it helps our brand positioning. Around 2000 executives atended the event, commercial contacts we wouldn’t otherwise be able to reach, contacts that are key to achieve our goals” – says Geraldine Gouet-Thureau – Prestige Account Manager EMEA & Global Travel Retail Manager.
Cono Sur has been in the Travel Retail business for only 5 years, during this time the winey has managed to win listings in airlines like Korean Air, LATAM, KLM, British Airways, Swiss, Caribbean Air, American Airlines and Delta.
“In 2019 Cono Sur will be listed in Lufthansa’s Business Class. This is a market segment that we most certainly want to invest our efforts. There is still a lot to explore” – says Geraldine.
